These Nepticks indicators that are many years old at the time made us dream. I remember that on the internet there were many looking for these codes, suffering that they were the Saint Grail, but it wasn’t because these indicators were only suitable in extremely volatile markets. Today I have resolved an old unresolved question to find a suitable filter for these indicators, which Nepticks has also renounced. The result is excellent, the idea came from system cobra which uses a similar filter which in this case has proved to be excellent in filtering the early signals generated by SST calc long and SST calc short. This trading system is a winner.
Filter is composed by three moving average 50 period (high, low and close).
Trading Rules
Conditions of buy
Price closes above the middle band.
The bands are green in color.
MACD’s histogram is green.
When these conditions are met, execute the purchase orders reported by the system.
Profit in relation to market volatility (normally 1 TP and 2 TP).
Stop loss follow the move stop loss of the system.
Conditions of sell
Price closes below the middle band.
The bands are red in color.
MACD’s histogram is red.
When these conditions are met, execute the sell orders reported by the system.
Profit in relation to market volatility (normally 1 TP and 2 TP).
Stop loss follow the move stop loss of the system.
How profit you can go with even for a few 3-5 pips depends by money management.
Note: The trading system is very fast to place pending orders as soon as the conditions are met.
I have tested this system with range bars, the result was excellent.
The filter in this case is powerful.
